Our story
We met through Yabusame — the ancient art of mounted archery.
Horse and rider becoming one, releasing an arrow in a single breath. That moment of stillness and tension taught us something profound. That true strength lies in not fighting. That when humans and nature move in harmony, something greater begins to stir.
Then a horse named Azusa carried us even deeper.
Azusa taught us quietly that it is possible to connect deeply with something beyond the human world. No words were needed — and yet, something was understood. That experience is where SHISOUAN begins.
We now capture what shines unseen, through photography and words. Everything that Yabusame once showed us — we hope to carry it forward, and share it with the world.
